My eyes opened... I hear the muttering of men and women. At least... I think that's it. Is it?
It took me a second to process my sight and found myself in a lab where I woke up on a metal operation table. There was a desk with tools and a few little drawers most likely to put my future belongings in. On the top, left wall, there was a one way window. I could only see shadows of what almost looked like men and women with... wings? Why wings of all things?
"Hahaha! Congradulations doctor! The first Pixel!" One of the doctors exclaimed.
"What should we name her?"
"What about... Alice!"
"No no no. A name like hers should be unique. That's what she is. I mean... we created a living being!" protested a gentle sounding woman. "Ha! A living being? She is anything but an organic organism! She's a robot! A prototype!" a scientist yelled to her. Just then, I noticed another scientist walk in the room and began to protest to defend the one who said that I was something special. I- I can't hear what she's saying. I then heard stepps coming toward me. The iron door opened with a tall women with long, orange hair and eyes that were nearly yellow in color. Her wings were massive with a golden tint to them. Her dress was long and white with a labcoat around her. She extended a hand to help me off the table and take my first steps. As I took her hand, I slowly slid off the table to balance my bare feet on the stone cold floor. My green bangs soon drooped to my face as they only seemed to cover one eye. The angelic woman pushed the bangs aside and tucked my long, green hair behind my ears. "My name's Angel." she said as she gave a smile. "What name would you like?" I-I'm not sure how to speak. I tried to say anything. Anything! I even tried little noises untill something came out. "M... mi... i...miimm...mimi.." Angel only giggled and said "How about... Mimi?" I nodded. "I'm the one who helped put you into this world. So I guess I'm like your mother." I nearly shed a tear at that one little phrase. I held her tightly as she hugged me back. From right then I knew that we were going to be best friends forever.
The years then seemed to pass so quickly. Angel and I really accepted eachother as family. Although, all the other scientists and doctors really didn't like us being together this close that much. She even gave me a present which was a pair of long, black gloves with these jewels Angel called "Rubees" on the sleeve. She gave me a love for fasion after teaching me how to mend little dresses and other such things. Plus, she was always there to love and protect me when she needed me most. It almost seems like... she's been a mother before...
I woke up once again on what was now a fluffy bed in the room I never left since being loaded. Mommy said that I got we would get to play games today and that she had a new dress for me. I played with my dolls for a few hours till I heard violent shouts and screams that were muffled to me because of the newly modified one-way window. The fait shadows looked as if they were yelling at Mommy. I could only watch and wait until Angel crashed through the window and landed in my bedroom with a few large cuts on her. "Mommy? Mommy?!" She only looked at me and took me by the wrist. She led me to the door quickly and opened it. I've only seen the hallway once or twice in the last several years. We ran through the building till we reached what they called outside. The ground was made of white fluff and had a cieling so high and blue. But there wasn't time to be dazed. The many doctors and scientists burst out chasing after us furiously. Angel quickly began to fight like I've never seen before. After less than a minute, we began to run again until we reached the edge of the ground. Angel quickly gave me the black gloves she used to wear but gave to me as a gift when we first met. She hugged me tight, "I'll always be there for you. Just... never forget me. I love you very much!" she cried as she pushed me down into the space below the ground. As I fell I heard extreme fighting and then...
